The trend rank
The trend rank of keyword shows how the keyword is relevant now. This value is used together with the downloads rank (calculated as before) to get the total rank of the keyword
This metrics is based on how often keyword occurred in Shutterstock TOP during the last couple of months. It takes into account also that some words are appearing in the TOP all the time. Thus, such keywords as “background” not become marked as demanded
Temporary trends
Some keywords are demanded only seasonally or because of some current events. Usually these keywords are not have high rank and you may want to know about that. So we mark such words with the rhombus, instead of the circle
